Teach You To Train Your Dog

Dog Obedience Training
Go to content
We have had dogs of all sizes for most of our lives. We did little training, as most people do, you know the occasional yelling 'NO' when something bad happened. Swatting on their butt or making a loud noise then tossing outside to potty train (some with great success).

I have trained dogs for 20 years. Dogs of all sizes from small dogs like poodles, to larger dogs like a Golden Retriever and Boxers...mainly Boxers.

Then we got Raji, a Mastiff - American Bull Dog hybrid.
This was going to be a large dog and we knew there was going to have to be more training than we had been accustomed to doing simply because of her size.
We had a computer repair shop in our town and wanted to be able to take her to the shop. We knew she could not be aggressive to people and had to obey any commands given to her.
I trained Raji myself only after doing a lot of research, reading, and understanding different concepts and points of view, using the techniques and methods described in our ebooks.
Cesar Milan was constantly on our tv, I purchased a couple of training videos, signed up for websites and came to believe each had some valid points. Each contradicted one another on some points and agreed on others.

I would like to be able to say I developed this program, but I cannot. The topics and methods on this website have come from my beliefs and the information from the research I have done.
Feel free to email me at anytime should you have questions or comments.

Three Biggest Mistakes Owners Make
Owners and Trainers alike treat dogs like Humans!
Dog owner’s, especially small dog owners think their dogs DON'T NEED training
They Hire a Trainer
You are the best person to train your dog. They need to obey your commands because you told them to, There will be no consistency with the way you give commands if they learn it from someone else.
